The South Carolina Cancer Alliance is a coordinated vehicle for bringing together all cancer “industry” stakeholders to collectively reduce the risk of cancer, improve access and quality of treatment, and maximize quality of life.

• The cancer “industry” is highly fragmented with hundreds of groups, organizations, agencies, and initiatives that share a common enemy, “Cancer”, but have an uncoordinated approach.
• The experts and services from research, prevention, treatment, survivorship, and advocacy are not optimally connected.
